I run my exact same setup at 32 PSI. Has not exhibited any of the wear you're seeing.

I agree with others that a factor other than simply tire pressure is at play here.

If you had them aired up to 50 PSI, you'd still wear on them, but it would only be once balding patch in the center.

I've never had an alignment done since I owned the Jeep 4 years, and from the wear on the tires its an even wear.

Won't be getting a check up anytime soon as I have been out of work for 14 months.

From your picture your tire looks all cupped. Have you checked their balance or your alignment?

As said already 30 psi is lots. Under inflated tires wear in the middle and over inflated on the outsides.

No alignment in 4 years and jeep all over the road and you think 30psi is your problem?

Other way around...but it does look to me at least from the pic like the outside of your tire is wearing faster than the inboard side of the tire. I think I can safely sae though that it's not possible that you wore the tires from the new spare in the back to what you are showing in only 4000 miles...did you mean 40,000?

This is what happens when you call a Jeep a Car.

Err.. Yes your correct towel33 other way around

But if you've been riding the bull for 4 years and haven't bothered to fix the issue and now have no means to fix I'm not sure what to do.

It is a car, a very bad one to say the least.

So tired of jeep and its primitive ways. Solid axles are ancient technology.

Curious, how many miles are on the Jeep?
