Idiotic Smittybilt header problem
Got myself a new Smittybilt bowless soft top. The header could have been designed better if a 5 year old had done it. It has stupid screw knobs and is really hard to get set and sealed properly. I can see light through it. Is there an easy trick or fix?

Ugh... seems like a hassle. My buddy just ordered a Bestop. Looks like it'll come with factory style latches on the header. Seems smart.
Just hoping mine doesn't suck as much as I think it does.

Hey !
Also got the Smittybilt !
Badly designed, rained in my Jeep, bad fit, etc, etc...
After 2 days, returned it and bought Bestop Trektop NX...
Massive difference in design and fit !!!
But, of course, way more expensive...
You get what you pay for ! ;-)

I like the top itself. I like it a lot better than my buddy's Bestop top. The header is crap, but it looks like other headers should fit. I think my buddy's header would fit on my top. The snaps look like they're in the same location. I'll probably order a Bestop header next summer and use it with my Smittybilt top.
