Info on tire size with a 4 inch lift
I am looking to put a 4 inch skyjacker lift with all new shock ect. on my 2011 wrangler unlimited. I'm wondering on what kind of rim and tires I should get to have that wide tire look and what rim size I would need to fit a 33 inch tire with that look. Thanks for all the help!

You are going to have too much lift for a small tire like a 33. It will look funny. You should run at least a 35 with a 4" lift. What he is saying is: if you want to run a 33" tire, save you money and buy a leveling kit or 2" BB. A leveling kit will remove the rake and give you about 1-2" of lift over stock.

Sorry, 4" of lift is big on a jk and a 33" tire will look small. A leveling kit basically adds a spacer or a new coil to the font and a smaller spacer in the rear usually netting 1.75-2" of lift in the front and .75-1.25" in the rear getting rid of the factory rake and allowing for a 33" tire to fit well.

The bottom line is it your jeep so if you want to get a 4" lift and run 33's you can. I just hate to see you spend some money on a lower kit and wish you had gone bigger. One thing I have noticed about jeepers is they always want to go bigger after they spend the money on a leveling kit. But the great thing is you can build on the leveling kit if you want to go bigger. Just some food for thought. The bottom line is its your jeep your the one that is driving it.

Alright so basically the cheaper thing to do if going with the 4 inch lift is get 35" tires which is fine I don't mind that but now how to I know what size rim and what size tire to get to have that wide stance look? Thanks for all the help guy sorry for being a newb lol.

4" lift 37" tires, Imagine 33s. Now for a size comparison a stock rubi is running 32.6" tires, but as stated before run what you want it's yours and only yours. 4.5 back spacing is what your looking for in rims and I like to go on the 50% rule as on your rims should never be larger than 50% of your tire. ie: 17-35 18-37 20-40 or above. You get the idea. Enjoy, hope that helps

For 35's It depends on what Wheel Size you want. Some people swear by 15's because the tires are cheaper and they get meaty sidewalls for flexing when aired down. Some People like 16's because its the middle ground its stiffer on the road but it will flex. Some people like 17's because they like the look. I know with 15's you might have to grind the front claipers down to get them to fit on some 15's and some people run 15's with having to do anything. Back spacing should be 4" to 5" but I would stay away from 5" it will almost definitely rub.
15 Wheels for 34.78 335 75R15
16 wheels for 34.6" 315 75R16
17 Wheels for 35" 315 70R17
15 Wheels for 34.78 335 75R15
16 wheels for 34.6" 315 75R16
17 Wheels for 35" 315 70R17
