Jeep JK Dana 30 Alloy 30 Spline axels ... are they made?
I see that 30 Spline Dana 30 axles are available for older model Wranglers as an upgrade to the 27 Spline. Anyone doing this for JK axles yet?

I think alot of people are running the 30 till theres a prob or failure, then upgrading to. 44. I wish I could but that's not gonna be in my budget..... for many YEARS.

Search on 'Dana 30 Super 30'. It is a 30spline arb setup for the JK d30. QT or Northridge should be able to hook you up with just the axles?

Would there be any real benefit in 30 spline for the Dana 30? I've heard of D30 failures, but to my knowledge none of those failures were the result of shaft failure at the splines

Thanks ... Super 30's will basically turn your front Axle into a Rubi 44 axle except for the R/P diamter.
The only difference between the JK front D30 and D44 are the axles (Rubi is 30 Spline) and R/P. Everything else is the same.

Unless I am mistaken and I am sure someone will correct me if so..... the D30 and the D44 housings are identical besides the center section. The r&p is obviously smaller but the pinion yoke is the same for either model. I am not sure what spline front shafts the D44 has. They may be identical to the 30 as well

I really don't believe its necessary only because I ran the USA Alloys in 27 spline and they are one tough bugger. When I finally broke them I also toasted my ring gear. Would be interesting to hear from others about how strong their alloy was/is. Did your diff go out first or did you break your upgraded 27 spline shaft?

Thanks
Thanks guys, I figured if I were going to an ARB locker, I might as well go the the thirty spline shaft at the same time. As far as the ring and pinion goes, the deeper you go gearing wise, the more vulnerable you are there. I'm running 3.73, so that is not an issue for me. I doubt I will ever break them.
