Where did you get your OEM bar?

Got mine from Quadratec in the replacement parts section. Around $90 more than a replacement bar from Bestop.

So is everyone with these tops having the same issue?' With a gap you would also have exhaust smell coming in as well. Chime in please. I just purchased this top and have not installed yet.

Not sure about the non-factory tops as that's all I've had; my bar came nicked up so I replaced it.

About the fumes; in my jeep with the top up cruising down the road with just the ac/heater blowing on a low setting pressurizes the jeep enough that I can see de side window bow outward so I would think it's harder to suck in exhaust gases than most people think.

I just installed mine yesterday, and I'd have to say that I've seen better designed tailgate bars. I'm in the process of tracking down a factory bar now.

Did you see this one?

It's only $70 vs the $140 one you posted. What's the difference?

I didn't see that one. Looks like it's just quadratecs version as they sell a line of soft tops as well. I was only searching out OEM parts when I got mine. The folks there are really nice; I'm sure if you called/emailed them and asked for a length comparison they would hook you up.

I picked one up off eBay for $45 shipped. It was basically new.

I just installed the NX on my 07 JKU and have the same gaps. I am going to try putting on my OE bar instead.

I use the factory bar on my 2010 JKUR and it works just fine. You're just sliding the rubber thru it.
