I've had both and would agree. Are they worth double the cost? Probably not, but JW pattern is definitely superior...maybe 30%. The Speaker gen 2s look even better from what I've seen online.

Are we going to get some pics of these new lights? I was also considering the TL's and Northridge deal is looking good!

Esp since they fixed the high beam pattern on the 8700 evo2. And now the revised harnesses are released so the brights won't stay on for 2.5s after turning them off. Trucklites are the best value for sure, $400 shipped from Northridge

I've run the Truck-Lites, JW Evolution 1s, and currently running the new JW Evolution 2... Definitely by far my choice is the new JWs, but if they don't fit the budget you can't go wrong with Truck-Lites.

Yes, I'd agree brights on Speaker gen 1 don't do much. But the low beams are SO good. Planning to add some Rigid D2 driving pattern on the A Pillar or similar for when I need extra long distance.

Just ordered mine from Northridge this weekend and they are on their way. Haven't seen a better price anywhere.

Where did you get the new harness from? I got a set of Evo 2s for Christmas, but can't install them until I get the PWM harness. Don't want to buy the "old" ones and have the high beam problem.
Thanks!
