Default Looking for input on daily driving with 35's vs stock Rubi tires

I'm planning on doing the upgrade to 35's and was hoping to get some feedback on noticeable differences on a DD.

Obviously, without changing the gears it will take away some acceleration. What about handling and driving on the freeway?

Thanks guys!

Mine is fine but unless you are going 80mph 6th gear is all but useless. 4:56 would def be better but 3:73 isn't bad. I get 18mpg combined in my Jeep. But I rarely use the air conditioner.

What year and gearing do you have now? (Some of the newer auto rubis came with 3.73)

Also auto or stick?

2013 jkur, 35s 6 spd man and just installed 4.88s.. daily driven and commuter.. weekend warrior. 25k miles in first year all with 4.10s. no issues with it whatsoever. trail grapplers performs great as far as road noise and comfort of ride.. way better for daily driving than the mud grapplers I had. had a good shop balance inside and outside of rim and rolls perfect even going 80.. was getting 14.5mpg stock now 16mpg with 4.88 gears..

Stopping distance is greatly increased, so leave extra room in front of you. If you tailgate, your premiums will go up.

I have a '13 Rubicon that is automatic with 4.10 gears and 35X12.50X18 Toyo M/T tires on 3.5" lift. With (soft) top on very minimal road noise and with top off a slight very low roar from the rubber. I get about 13 around town and 16 on the highway running around 70mph.

There's about 200 RPM difference @ 70 MPH. There is slightly more bump steer and with the V6 you will notice they are harder to push. Overall they are pretty compatible for everyday driving.

2012 2Dr Auto Rubi with 4.10. I daily drive mine both highway and city and it drives fine. Upgraded the tires to 35x12.50x17 MTRs about 3k miles ago so not super long... but like most have said, dont really notice a difference. Mileage is close to the same as well as accelleration. Braking definitely will need more room just because of the weight.... but its negligible.
