Looking for input on daily driving with 35's vs stock Rubi tires
I have a '14 6spd Rubicon 2door with 35 Goodyear MTR Kevlar's & a 2" spacer lift, feel more bump steer & way more wind pushing you around on the highways.
15.5-16 is what I'm getting for mileage... That includes wheeling, so just on road should be slightly more.

Where did you pull that info out of? Many tailgate and flash their lights due to the idiots driving in lane 1 that stay there and don't move over to let others pass. Big reason for road rage. OP- it will take longer to stop by a few feet depending on speed. Those few feet could mean not hitting the bumper or being halfway into the vehicle. Give yourself extra room and look three cars ahead. Ideal fix- bigger rotors and calipers.

'13 JKUR auto with 4.10's and 35" Cooper STT's. On avg I get about 15-16mpg but if I drive nice I can get 18-19mpg in the city and anywhere from 18-22mpg on the highway, depending on wind. Completely stock other than AEV procal, CAI and 35's.

I have the 32in original set and a 35in set. My 07 Sahara JKU has 4:10 ratio.
The 32in gives me around 14mpg city and 18mpg highway.
The 35in gives me around 12mpg city and 15mpg highway.
Both sets mounted on the OEM aluminum rims.
The 35in takes a lot of power to accelerate and just exposes that flimsy anemic 3.8L even more.
For DD I obviously go with the 32in and change it when offroading. Sometimes I do not even bother putting the 35s.

I have 13 JK with 35" Duratracs which are actually 33.75" with 4:56 and TrueTrac on a 6spd man.
Honest figures shifting at 2K around town………17-18mpg
Hwy it drops to around 16 if I don't go over 70 (2500 rpm), over 70 it drops to 15 and lower.
I'm averaging 16 mpg, and I don't drive conservatively.
It's a dual purpose DD and toy. I'm happy with the results.

Quick question(s).
How do you get better mileage in the city? In what kind of traffic do you drive?

I've got a 2014 polar edition and at the end of the summer doing the works to do, lift, rims, tires and re gearing. It's my daily driver and I literally drive 60 miles in a day just for work. I'm looking at just a 3inch lift and probably just 33x10.5x18. It's an automatic. What kinda of gearing should I get? I don't drive fast, the fastest I will go is maybe 70, I'm never in a rush, I like to just sit back and cruise!
