Sadly, they're plastic. But they are replaceable. They are sold in pairs. I wonder what it would cost to have a shop machine those for you though.

These are my choice, so easy to clean. I have two sets of rings (street off-road)

If you can look close they really to the job

Although they're discontinued, I found a set of Mickey Thompson Classic Locks and love them.
