free pinstipping, If you want it to look the same on both sides make sure to hit the same branches on the way OUT of the trail.
Plus the flashing marker mod and drilled mirrors was pretty cheap and easy. Most of the other mods include a trip to the bank!!!!

All black JK. Removed all decals, Tinted front windows to match factory tint, Painted chrome door key locks gloss black to match paint, took the grey rear cargo cover from the 98 Cherokee we traded in, and and made a custom cargo cover for the JK.

Fender chop there's a write up for on project-jk.
Pull the carpet and drain plugs- no instructions needed
Put weater stripping around the rear "storage" area under the hatch in the trunk to keep water out.
If u don't get a new bumper, stubby that and ditch the plastic air dam crap under
Relocate the evap- write up on here, on my crackberry or I'd find it for u
Extend rear axle breather- write up on project-jk
Extend brake line brackets, super easy
Loose the back seat, easy enough to put back in if u need it

-The only free/cheap mods I have done so far is to drill out the crappt stock plastic bolts that hold the shifter boot assembly together. I HAD to do this because the dealer broke mine while fixing my clutch. They tried to fix it with super glue, which lasted a day. A little drilling, and a few little bolts and nuts, and I think it gives it a little more personality.
-I used some low profile high streingth velcro to secure the ipod next to the deck.

Do you have a diy writeup or pics of the cargo cover mod?

Was wondering exactly the same thing.. Make them replace the whole part with a new one and after that, do your mod if you want.. at least the plastic will not be broken underneath.

My personal favorite is the Jeep dimple mod. Pretty simple to do. Just park on a slight downslope remove the straps that hold the front door from opening all the way(now comes the trickiest part). Start to open the door and then let it go BAM instant dimples. Chicks dig them and they are all the rage with alot of JK owners.
