Knowing that AEV (quietly) produces a lot of products across the industry, I'm betting AEV makes these. They look like AEV brackets, but with connectors to make them a boxed-unit design.

I can assure you that they are not getting parts from AEV. Looks to me like they used a design more like Rancho's. And AEV would need to fire its sales team if they started selling parts to help a direct competitor take their share.

Those brackets are not hard to make.

AEV's manufacturing subsidiary already sells parts to competitors, but I have no direct knowledge of their selling to MC.

Right. That's where poison Spyder gets the formed rear corners that they make into their crusher corners. Just noting that MetalCloak isn't sourcing from AEV. Would be like J&J selling store brand acetaminophen next to Tylenol. Even though they lost 80% market share, they'd never make a store brand.

Why does this kit not come with a shock option? Do you reuse existing shocks? I see nothing on their website about shocks or brackets when it comes to this kit.

You can see the shock extensions in the picture. New shocks are obviously an option, you just have to add the cost. Its the same could as other kits, so any shock they sell will work or any shock for that size lift.

I've had this set up on for three weeks know with Fox 2.0 shocks and it is the best ride I've had yet(in any Jeep I've owned). We been to the sand dunes and have run some two tracks in Michigan and has preformed great, much better ride on the street then my Rubicon had when stock.
