I have the mirrors from justaddmudd that drop into the hinges and use a magnet to secure. Love them!

$12 each at pep boys and a thick rubber grommet/washer between post ans pant. Rattle canned them black. They work great. A litel vibration but not bad. I just bent the one end to match the angle i wanted. Super easy and cheap.

Removable Jeep Mirrors for JK, TJ, YJ, and CJ - Outlaw Mirrors
American Outlaw mirrors. Not cheap, but great! Email where ever you buy them for a discount. American Outlaw website will give you 10% off.
I know the pic sucks, but I only have like 5 pictures of the JK.

I'd suggest getting relocation brackets and then you don't have to worry about always bolting them in and out of the hinge.
I bought the Harley Davidson mirrors and use to always bolt them in and out becomes a bit of a pain if you have to do them as often as I had to with our weather. And the wind quite often would move them in towards the jeep.
So I bought the rugged ridge relocation brackets and permantly kept the Harley mirrors in there.... I have a snorkel so the stock one wouldn't fit on the passenger side ... Not the best pics sorry

It's not necessarily DOT compliant but I use adjustable blind spot mirrors (the kind that pivot around) attached to the air vents with Velcro. The mirrors are almost identical to the diameter of the air vents and when not in use the Velcro is not visible. Works great for me and very stealth. Never had a problem getting hassled with it on the road.
