only thing I regret buying was the smittybilt extended bikini top. it sucked. I could get it super tight and 10 minutes down the road it was loose again. sold it and bought a spiderweb shade which I was happy with until I saw the trek amor one, waiting for it be in stock and will be ordering it.

I had a pretty big regret on a past JK. I upgraded to a Pro Rock 44 front axle when I did a 2 1/2" lift and 35" tires. Something on that Jeep was causing a driveline vibration though, and it was in the front end. If I took the front driveshaft off the vibration was gone. I ended up replacing the driveshaft, rebalancing the driveshaft (twice), and then going back to the stock driveshaft. I rebalanced tires twice, and then replaced the tires with an entirely new set of tires, and rebalanced them (twice). I adjusted control arms countless times. I replaced the front axle shafts with aftermarket axle shafts, and the went back to the stock axle shafts. And none of this eliminated the driveline vibration. I finally sold that Jeep because I never could solve the vibration problem, after months and months and months of working on it.
At that time I said to myself "self, never again will I go to all of the work and expense of changing front axles, and NOT change to a front axle that has locking hubs". I don't think the Pro Rock 44 was causing the vibration, but if that axle would have had locking hubs I could have just unlocked the hubs, and ... vibration cured.
My current Jeep has a Pro Rock 60, with Warn premium hubs. It is as smooth as glass on the highway. I don't think I've ever had a Jeep as smooth and vibration free as this one. I have less vibration in this Jeep now than when it was stock, or from other stock Jeeps I've had. It drives marvelous.

All I did was unplug the side marker light wiring back in the engine compartment, cut both wires about 2" from the plug. Dipped the 2 plug wires into liquid electrical tape. Then plugged it back in. This will waterproof the wires and if you need to but it back to stock, the wires are there to do this. Then I spliced in the two wires from the side marker light into the turn signal light on the grill. That's it. Make shure you waterproof the splice. When you turn on the blinker the side markers will blink.

My Wife Mod complained about how dark it was in the jeep at night when you opened the doors and got in. She said she could not see any thing with the stock over head cabin light. My answer was to install day time driving lights. Cost is about 11 dollars for the led light strips off eBay, I solder the wires to the stock over head lights. The result was Wife Mod freaked out said the international space station could see the Jeep when the doors were open. So to again please the Wife Mod, I installed a small rocker switch on the front of the sound bar to control the front led light. I leave it in to off position and only when I need to see real well in the front seat area do I switch it on. Only The rear led light comes on when you open the doors or turn on the over head light with the column light control or you can just push the left light switch on the stock over head light and it will come on. Best mod yet.

It's most certainly bright.
There is an LED replacement bulb for all the interior lights, takes about 5 minutes to swap em out. Can get one for the license plate light as well if it's being used. Can actually count my change when it's dark out, or read a map.
I regret drilling holes in my tailgate for my smittybilt pack holder. Wish I would have gone with a tailgate table, but it was the early days and I knew not what I needed.
I love my AEV hood as well my MBRP roof rack. Sent from my recliner

Smittybilt grab handles and Smittybilt GEAR seat covers. Inexpensive, but still a mod. The fabric faded from black to purple, the rubber handles deteriorated, and the stitching began unraveling all within one year. Typical S*ittybilt
