I forgot to say I had trouble with getting some bolts in on the PS skid. I had to find a smaller nut/bolt for one of the holes. I left the holes directly under the frame rails empty, there's not enough clearance on mine. The gap was only big enough for a washer without a nut. I didn't bolt it to the crashbar either, but if it starts rattling someday I'll figure something out.

As far as the gussets go, I just liked the plates better.

If you get one and paint it yourself, don't let it roll off the sawhorses. Because it will fall on your jackstands and then the floor. Then your nice paint job won't look so nice anymore.

Had the same issue: re bolts, the ones right under the frame rails were impossible (but I'm not worried about it). Same with the crash bar bit. I did have to cut away some of the crash bar corners to get a good fit, as well, but it was no biggie with a cutoff wheel.

'12 2dr Rubi w/ PSC Brawler lite + brawler bar + plate gussets + skid (LOVE it) - sorry for the terrible photographs, I'm mid-move and don't have my DSLR unpacked yet.

Sorry, had to laugh at that but it isn't funny. Just the way you described it.

I think we've all been in a similar situation.

The PSC looks pretty sweet with tube gussets.
