Just ran Rausch Creek (lots of rocks and mud) and my ridge Grapplers did great.

Just a quick update. Finally got some good heavy rain here and decided to get out and see how they did. I'm definitely impressed and had zero issues or hydroplaning. The definitely do better in the rain than my previous set of Trail Grapplers. These tires have a decent amount of siping, and the tread design does a good job of letting the water evacuate.

Next will be snow and ice testing, whenever some inclement makes it this way.

These are definitely the best all around tire I have ever used to this point, and Nitto did a stand up job in designing them. More to come..

How did they perform in the mud? I am considering moving up to 37s and was looking at this tire. Currently I run Goodyear Duratrac and they have done well.

I like the Nitto Trail Grapplers, but with my rig being my DD I wasn't sure about going to a MT. Alot of our off-roading here is mud and it can get sticky.

They did great. I went through a few deep mud holes with water over the headlights and a layer of mud on the bottom of the holes that many have been stuck in and had no issues. I couldn't tell the difference in performance between these and the Trail Grapplers I had on my last Jeep in the same mud holes.

Default snow and ice

really looking at these as well but waiting to hear about how they do in low temps/ snow and ice!!!!! Currently have Firestone destination m/t which are at the end of their life. They had no issues in sand/mud/rocks or snow. How ever they are a 8yr old design and technology.

give me a month and ill let you know. I live in big snow country and have a set of 305 70 17s sitting in the garage right now waiting for me to get up the courage to go out in the cold and put the lift kit on. Ill say this. there an impressive looking tire. More aggressive looking in person then they are in pictures.

I am considering getting these tires in a 285/70/17. Would it be better to get a LT285/70R17 C or a LT285/70R17 E?
This will be going on a 2017 JKU Sport. I will only be doing light trails and highway driving.
