I think if you dualed up optimas it wouldnt be a problem for a welder on the trail.
Considering the optima battery or any other brand battery’s main purpose is to start the vehicle. All the other extra electronics when the vehicle is running is powered by the alternator! The higher the amp alt is the better extra electronics seem to run and don’t drain your system and kill the alternator. Battery’s have reserve capacity time but you never run your lights or use your winch when your vehicle is not running! And led lights use a 3rd or the juice that incandescent bulbs do so it would take along time to kill a newer battery anyways. I have led light bars 12 k winch etc and a optima battery and I have a power master 175 amp alt to run everything with 4awg battery power wires.

I have 2 Optima yellow tops with my Genesis Offroad Dual Battery kit and love it.
I have a power inverter, winch, interior fusebox, winshield and backup lights.

I do know that Odessy is a better battery from what I have read.
