I have the newer carrier and mine does hit against the carrier. I still have the rubber bumpers on to but I don't think the do much good. Is the turnbuckle adjusted in so the carrier sits in the v slot? That will only bring it in a little though.

An update to any of those who care ....

I called & talked with poison spyder today ! ... And the bumper & mount is set up for up to 4 inch back spacing ..... Because I have 4.5 & a small 285 on top of that is my problem.
This is why I have all they're products.
Not only are they quality ! Customer service surpasses that ! They're gonna make me up a whole new bracket to fit my scenario & get it shipped to me quickly ! ..... I'm a customer for life & if anyone else is considering , or maybe turned off by my post ! Buy one today. It was my issue & they're going out of they're way to make it work for me ! ... I'm pumped ! & will stop the P.S humping now , I'll update once complete ; )

That's awesome. It's more the tire than the backspacing as I have the same backspacing but a 12.5" wide tire.

Not surprised at all, you're in great hands with PSC.

That's funny. We have their fenders and the rear brackets that brace the fenders to the tub don't fit the newer JKs. After a month in "engineering" they said it wasn't a priority and to try and fab something up. Then got their rear bumper and the aluminum cap that goes over the spindle was cross threaded. They said just force it on and it should be fine.

That's two customer service failures in a row. Within this industry, I guess their service isn't bad. Compared to the Synergies, Artecs, and MetalCloaks of the world, not even close.

I'm sorry for your experience ! ...
All I can speak for is my own , & they made right by me ! I too had some problems with that cap , I wire wheeled the threads on both & it managed to smooth up ...

Good to hear that they fixed you up. Gives you a good reason to buy bigger tires now.
