I got a discount for our local club so I saved about $150 in parts but our local shop charges $75 an hour for labor, 4 hours each axle. The original total was a little over $1700 for gears and a front shaft installed. I don't know if I have that quote still without our discount.
My invoice price is as follows:
D30 4:88 r&p $142.87
D44 4:88 r&p $162.87
Install kit. $61.15 x 2
Oil $6.32 x 6
Solvent, towels, misc $8.50 x 2
Haz waste $15.00 x 2
Labor $75.00 x 8
So $512.96 for parts and $600 for labor, around $1,200 total with taxes. A couple months ago they were also running a $999 package if you spent $70 registration to a local offroad event.
I was getting a custom made drive shaft from them so my total installed was under $1600 for both gears and a front shaft.

I paid $1500 for G2 gears and all of the install kits and labor. I added new diff covers, so that was another $200 or so. Total out the door price was $1700 and change.
All of the shops in my area ranged from $1500-$2000+
