where I am from... A medium size tractor on a trailer exceeds tow capacity by 1500 lbs.

I bet it doesn't.

Towing capacity of a jku is 3500lbs. My tractor and trailer are right around 2900. So it's within capacity.

4:10 as opposed to 4:56 with mileage and speed. 6spd tranny. Any thoughts?

4.10s would be a complete waste of money.

4.56s would result in less than 250 in higher engine rpm at highway speeds for a 2012+ 6 speed on 305/70R18s.

With 34 or 35" tires go 4.56. You'll totally regret 4.10 if you go that direction

Agree. I have a 2014 6spd Rubi that had stock 4.10s. I put on 315/70/17s. It was okay, but found myself downshifting from 6th to 5th on anything with a moderate grade and first gear did not have as much low end as I like off road in 4hi (4lo was fine)

I swapped out to 4.56 after about 3 months. It was a solid improvement. overall combo on and off road the 4.56s are much better than 4.10s. Mileage went down with 4.56s, (my guess is about .5 - 1 mpg) but it was worth it for the performance.

As aside, I recently added an Airaid intake and. Flowmaster catback exhaust. The combo makes the motor breath better and put a little extra grunt into the mix. Surprisingly mileage is back up.
