Default Regearing and reusing old shims

Ok.. Going to finally go to 4.56.. Thanks to everyone for the input.

Me and a friend are going to do the swap.. We're both GM techs, so have all the tools and knowledge.. For GM. Done new R&P on GM vehicles, for warranty.. so always reused old shims and went back to factory specs.

Now doing a Dana and going to 4.56.. has anyone had luck with reusing their old shims? Will still check pattern and all, just curious if the shims got you close.
And probably will go with Yukon master gear set from Northridge .. also jeep has 6400 miles on it
