Remove Crash Bar?
I'm throwing a Poison Spyder Brawler Lite bumper on this weekend and I was curious if cutting the crash bar off and flipping the electronic sway bar is the way to go, or if I should actually get the Brawler Lite Skid Plate. My real concern is that I'm not sure if that crash bar will serve a purpose later and if the dealership will try to void my warranty if they notice it has been removed.
If I cut the crash bar off...
Pros:
Save $210 (plus cost of powder coating) the skid plate
Get to take a grinder to a brand new Jeep
Flip the electronic disconnect
Cons:
Not sure if I'll need the crash bar for something later
Dealer might get butthurt
Might need the crash bar to attach something to later
Flip the electronic disconnect... then the dealership gets butthurt again, because it involves cutting.
I'm probably missing a few things, but I'm curious what your thoughts are and what you've done on your Jeep.

I know I don't have to cut the crash bar to flip the disco, but I'm worried about protecting the disco. It's either, flip the disco or buy the crash bar. I'm looking for the best option based on the pros and cons I listed, along with pros/cons I haven't thought of yet.

I have been running my Brawler Lite without the skid or removing the crash bar. The crash bar does gives some protection to the disco.
IMO, you would have to go through the bar or drive the bar over something to get to the disco enough to damage it.
Plus it gives me a place to mount the front plate.

I too would be curious as to dealer voiding warranty on this. I cut off my crash bar with my brawler lite, but I don't have a sway bar disco motor to protect.
