Default Ripp Supercharger Finished

I have about 200 miles on it and here are a few observations:

1. Nice linear power.
2. No good news on fuel mileage yet. I think the boost injector may have been set too high. #3 and 1 o'clock on full side??? is that correct?? May be too rich??? So far about a 2mpg drop.
3. Loud. Not overbearing, similar to a diesel f250 in interior/exterior sound. Have MBRP exhaust also adding to the db's.
4. Under full acceleration, I have noticed harsh shifting in the automatic. I hope this is resolved once the "learning" period is finished.
5. No check engine light, or limp mode what-so-ever!! Very nice kit!
6. Finally got boost guage installed. Learning how to drive boost. Any tips??

Here are some pics --- What do you think of the "Supercharged" Decal I wanted something no too overstated???

Would you have paid an extra 5k for an option package that would almost double your power to the ground from the factory? That is how I justified it. This was the most fun, yet slowest, vehicle I have ever owned. Now, although no rocket ship, its acceleration is acceptable, and much more enjoyable to drive on a daily basis. I no longer have to wage war with the motor to hit highway speeds or worry about pulling into faster traffic.

I would consider harsh shifts under WOT to be a good thing. As it means you are losing less power to a sloppy shift. Now if it shifts hard under light or medium accelleration, then that may not be a good thing.

And I dig the sticker as well, since you have the real thing underneath

Only under WOT. Shifts normal otherwise. Pretty cool if you can time full boost with a shift. Gets you a big WHOOOOOSH from the Blow off Valve.

I need to find a stop watch. I will try and get a time tomorrow. I will also get one in my friends stock Rubi for comparison. You guys are killing my chances of trying to improve my gas mileage. Although, I don't mind.
