Default Rubicon Rear Axle Shaft Replacments

I picked up a Rubicon take off with the Rubicon locker in it (32 spline) and I will be replacing the shafts.

I will probably try to find something with the bearings pressed on already and will also replace the seals and the retainer. I assume the ABS tone ring as well.

I've seen the Nitro Gear Complete on NR4x4's site, but I'm not sure what else might be out there.

I would appreciate any experience you have had, good or bad, and some recommendations.

Nitro doesn't warranty bent flanges. I'll look when I get home but if I remember right G2 and ten factory both offer the same warranty that is pretty much all inclusive.

RCV 300m. Once and done. Ten Factory are nice and they have a warranty, but the flanges will still bend. I wouldn't get hung up on the bearings being pressed on. Any local drivetrain shop will press them on for a nominal fee. I think I paid $20/shaft last year.

What he said. 300M from RCV. And comes with the bearings already on if that's an issue for anyone.

Ten Factory is the best deal going right now and they have a no questions asked 10 yr warranty.

Ten Factory JK Non-Rubicon, 30 Spline, Dana 44 Rear Chromoly Axle Kit (TENMG22156)

Ten Factory JK 32 Spline, Rubicon, Dana 44 Rear Chromoly Axle Kit (TENMG22157)

And like previously mentioned we do offer them with everything pressed on ready to go and supply the new backing plates as well which are not included.

Not for $1800 a set. I'll take my chances with G2 or Ten Factory.

Thanks, David.

Forgive my ignorance - never swapped out axles before - what is the backing plate? Is that the same as the seal retainer?

Second question - do your prices include pressing on the bearings or is there an additional charge for that?
