Question Side rail/step recommendations....

So the Jeep is lifted, I can get in it okay, but my wife is shall we say vertically challenged. I knew what rails I wanted (JCR OffRoad Classic Rails), but I do not think they will work (for her to step up). So I need some recommendations. Of course I don't want just some cookie cutter rails. I don't rock crawl ( or plan too?) so I am not worried if they hang down. I found these, but have not heard of them before...

They are made in the USA so that's a plus, what do you all think? Anything else out there? I saw some Step Rockers from Nemisis Industries somewhere on here that looked cool but they are not listed on the website...

Anyway what you got?!?

I had the same problem, so I went with the Body Armor Rock rails. If you don't plan on playing hard these will work just fine. I ended up having some bracket made up and welded to the frame later. They took some beating, before I unbolted from the pinch seams. Click image for larger version

I had the same issue but it was my 7 year old who really needed steps. However, I still wanted to keep the off-road look. Someone recommended these to me.

Really great quailty. Great price and if your an amazon prime member, free two day shipping. They also have them in the 4 door version.

The installation instructions aren't the best and if your Jeep is a 2011 or newer you will need 4 bolts not included as four of the bolts are welded to a part not needed with the 2011 or newer as the newer JK's come with it already on the jeep but I would be happy to answer any questions you have on the install. Install was really easy and took about an hour tops. Couldn't be happier!

I suggest the ACE rails they work great as a step for getting up into the jeep and protection if you ever do decide to play on rocks.... Easy bolt on too... And work great just came back from Moab. Also they're great for helping with putting up and down the soft top. SORRY ABOUT THE IPHONE PICS HAVEN'T FOUND A CLOSE UP YET :(

I installed the ace rock slider. They look great, function well, and made it easier for my wife to get in and out of my jeep.

I just put these classic smittybilts with steps on. They seem ok but they mount to the body like the rubi rails so that scares me a little Click image for larger version

I had the ace's, they were good as step ups and plenty of beef for sliders.. I'm waiting for the poison spyder bolt on knockers for the 2dr. I saw the nemesis ones which I like if I didn't have side skins already on. They list them on their site just no price yet I think their still tweaking them

I bought a set on stock rubicon rails for nothing and added the ace rock rails with them. To me I love the finished look of the stock rubi rock rails and the durability/ step on the Ace slider when using both. Total price was 320$ for both!
