I ordered one last sunday... should have it in a few more day's... I plan on building a winch plate to mount it inside my Rubican X front bumper, so it will be a while till I get it tried out.

It's made in China. That's what kept me away. That explains the pricing differential.

I'm in the market for a winch and this one is intriguing. Anyone have some real world experience with this yet? Pros/Cons? Problems? Haven't found many reviews in the real world yet.
The IP68 waterproofing rating (functional winch while being submerged for one hour) is definitely a bonus at this price point.

If Quadratec or 4 Wheel Drive would have had one at the Bantam Festival I would be going home with one.
