I have covered my Jeep in Smittybilt hard parts. I have bashed it and played just as hard as the other guys. The coatings flake off just as fast as anything else when you scrape on rocks. I think it looks good and has held up great the last few years. It was the look I was wanting in a price I was willing to pay and that was the main reason for it.

The American way involves cost cutting and maximizing profits in a capitalist way. I figured that was why you have a Trump ready to take office.

I'd like to take this time right now to thank my Canuck patriot for putting my head back on a swivel! If it weren't for you, these made in Gina imposters would clearly have contaminated the rest of my tool box. I thank you. My tools thank you. Trump thanks you. America thanks you.

All fun & games aside, the bottom line is yes....

....it's your damn money so do what you want with it. Support fellow American families or choose the opposite.

BUT don't come whining when the only jobs left for you or your damn kids, nieces, nephews, what have you, etc. are Walmart greeters or Costco ID checkers because if you haven't already noticed yet, they are starting to replace the checkout stand cashiers with auto scanners so kiss those "jobs" goodbye and you'll be left to wonder why you're now living in a box equivalent to those pictures of Hong Kong slums I posted earlier because you only make $15 bucks an hour.

Where there's a will, there's a way. You have no will, then you've got NO way.

Godspeed.

This whole silly debate is taking place with electronics that are in no way shape or form manufactured in the USA. If they were made here just imagine what they would cost. I buy what I can to do what I need done and don't give a damn where it came from with the exception of walmart. If they had to depend on my patronage they would have closed when Sam died.

A better way to look at this whole thread might be to wonder why the few manufacturers here are so unbelievably expensive?

sa29560 already addressed this *yawn*....

...but since you're bringing it up again, maybe they should be 100% "Made in America."
