Because my painted flares paid for those I have on.

Haha. I had a similar situation. I hit a UPS trucks tire that flew off. It cracked my left front fender. And scuffed my Sahara bumper. $1500+ damage paid by StateFarm. Three days late I have new metal fenders, front winch bumper, rear matching bumper w/tire carrier, and a FlashCal. For $1155 shipped. Used the other $400 as partial payment for a Daiwa Steez fishing rod to match my Steez reel. Haha.

Those painted plastic flares are kinda expensive. And the silver bumper appliqué ? Don't get me started! Lol. I think the fender, liner, bracket and paint was almost $900 by itself. The bumper, metal bar, and appliqué was almost $500. And then there was a few very light scratches on the front grill close to the headlight.

Thought about chopping the front bumper and trimming the flares. But it still would have had scratches from tree limbs all the way down both sides from going to fishing spots. This way, the scratches are gone and the Jeep looks cooler. Haha. It's really funny when I put the hard top on in the winter. It's perfect. No scratches. But the rest of the Jeep looks a little bad up close.

The metalcloak liners are just two aluminum pieces bent to fit/cover up the spaces left by removing the stock plastic liners. The factory liners don't fit very well with these fenders even when cut up.

I sold my stock fenders for $100, and picked these up on sale for right around $200. The time to hack them perfectly, and still run the risk of sagging in the future was well worth the extra $100(I have a couple friends that switched from trimmed fenders to these b/c of their stock units sagging.)

Looks pretty good, man. What size lift are you running? I bought these last year so that I could fit 35's on my stock '13 JK (see picture below) and I'm now looking into lifts and can't decide between a 2.5" or 3.5". I guess I'm afraid that 3.5" will make my 35's look small.

I think I end up with more mud and dirt on the B pillar than anywhere else!

I just ordered a pair, but crawler concepts has a aluminum fender liner that works with these fenders. I saw the liners in the sponsorship forum.
