The Spicer Ultimate 44 is 16% stronger than the D30/D44 factory axle when referring to the axle tubes.

My buddy bought one from 4WD about 2 months ago for his 2014 Sport. He got in the 4.10 flavor for 35" rubber.

I'm obviously still researching and not ready to buy, BUT.....

Right now at: Dana Spicer - Jeep JK Ultimate Dana 44 Front Axle Assembly 5.38 Ratio - Fits 2007 to 2017 JK Wrangler, Rubicon and Unlimited - 4WheelParts.com
You can get the UD44 in any ratio 3.73 to 5.38 using BUYNOW coupon for $3163 total with CO Tax and Delivery to my driveway.
It’s hard to not find validity in this upgrade. I’ll continue my research.

That is a really good price for sure. Can't go wrong there. All the labour is done on the build for you so you just have to swap it in. Only a Couple hours work if you are good with a wrench. Add in a few hundred for the matching rear gear set and you are all done for under 4K.

Hey Canvas,

Do you remember which Artec truss you got?
I have the UD44 in my garage.
I returned the G2 truss I bought that was designed for the JK Rubi44. It was so far off and was not worth modifying, the UD44's 1/4" thick bracketry is MUCH different than the stock brackets!
What did you need to do to the truss you installed? And what control arm bushings(axle side) did you install? I asked Synergy if they had replacements for them and - NO ANSWER..... so?
