Default Superchips Error - Car is dead -HELP

I was installing a tune on my 2013 Wrangler. It appeared the tune was done uploading because all it kept telling me was turn ignition on and press ok after the tune load. I tried to turn the car on, got nothing but a buzzing noise. I plugged the tuner back in and it says attempting to recover stock tune, then says tuner error call superchips E55 I believe. Now I have a dead car and have work tomorrow.

Anyone have any advice?

To make things worse I have tried to install spark on three different computers and all of them say that they do Not recognize the tuner when it is plugged in.

I have used SCT tuners on all of my mustangs with no issues so its not like I am not familiar with operating a tuner.

I used a diablo sport programmer which fried my PCM. I took it in for warranty service and played dumb. By searching PCM problems online I found some mopar tech notices about symptoms needing reflash or new PCM and told them those were what was happening to my jeep.

Which model Superchips programmer are you using?

Which software version are you using?

3875. I tried this, did not work . I also tried to update the tuner as advised by Superchips and it ran through all the updates but eventually said it failed .

I then plugged it back into the car anyway and ran it through recovery and it came up with a new error E-00. The car DOES start now but has a CEL. I have disconnected the battery in hopes the computer resets as it did with my 2012 mustang after being disconnected for a few hours.

Does anyone know how long it takes the jeep PCM to reset with battery disconnect?

Since no one has a clue, I am going to keep this updated for people with future issues.

The car will start right after trying to upload the recovery tune but has a CEL, and will not start after 10 minutes or so.

The code E-00 means the database failed to complete update (which makes sense since it failed to update on the computer). Superchips looked at the log and saw it just keep looping through the same firmware update. They said that if a firewall or anti-virus is on, it can prevent it from updating and these need to be turned off. I am going to try to update again tonight.

Kittens are dying everywhere. I'm sorry for your plight but damn it where's the humanity?? It's a jeep not a car. Save the kittens for the love of all things holy! sent from my work leash

If you are tuning a 2013 I believe you need a 3870 not 3875 tuner. I have ben tuning my 2013 JKU for over a month with 3870 no issues. Tuner Model 3870
Software 3.05.04 Spark 4.1.3268.1115.

I have tuned my 13 as well with no issues. I have one of their beta testers.
