Default Teraflex hd carrier

I need help I'm installing my teraflex hd hinged carrier n it says to rotate the hinge 15 degrees so it's easier to install but this thing won't budge

Do u have any of the bolts attached yet or is it still completely off the jeep?

Use something to get some leverage on the hinges. The hinges were tight when I installed mine.

How's the clearance between your tire and the factory bumper? Are you able to close the tailgate easily?

Mine works like a charm. Even stays open when I want it to. I've got no issues running a 35". You just need to follow the guide and bolt pattern recommendations from TF.
