Default Teraflex leveling kit questions....

So, I have completely ruled out the Teraflex 1.25 body lift. I am looking into the leveling kit (puck). The plan is to run 33's and a 16 or 17 wheel. What will the leveling kit do for me in terms of off roading? I know that 33's will fit on stock and I am hoping to alleviate any possibility of fender rubbing. Is it worth it. I plan on hitting the trails maybe once or twice a year with family and nothing too crazy. This is my wife's DD and she wants an aggressive look. Any other ideas or thoughts?

That's my setup. TF leveling kit with 33s on 16s. Works well for me. Sent from my iPhone using JK-Forum

I've got the TF "spring" leveling kit on my 2014 JKUR. 2" front 1" rear. Perfect for getting rid of rake and plenty of room to run 33's. I doubt 33s would rub.

Default Build Complete

So after extensive research we finally finished the mods for my 14 JKU. Teraflex leveling kit, 16x8.5 MB wheels and 33" Duratracs.

I just put 33" DuraTracs on factory 17" rims with no lift. I get a little tire rub from left tire turning right on the sway bar. I plan on putting 1.5" hub centric wheel spacers and 1" spring spacers on the front for now. Then I think I'll do a 2.5" spring lift with new shocks next year.

Simply adding spring spacers won't alleviate tire rub at flex. You're only adjusting ride height. The axle will still hit the bumps tops, but you will gain chassis clearance.

I still rubbed when I had 33" Nitto 's on a Teraflex level kit at full flex. Simple fix, while your springs are out, drill a hole in the bottom of the spring perch, do the same with a hockey puck, bolt it is, wham, cheap easy bump stop extension.
