Default Tires on factory 16" Wheels

How wide has anyone gone on the 16" factory aluminum wheels??? Will a 12.5 fit or should I keep at 11?

Thanks for the info and the pics, they are worth a thousand words. I have heard with wide tires and narrow wheels you must air down to keep the top from rounding out. From around 32 lbs to 28 lbs. But that was a 33x12.5 R15x7. Did your tires bulge at the top?

Poor mans bead lock I have heard of but what is the down side if any??? Why dont more people run this set up? Some say you cant mount them. Well I do appreciate the inputs, all my friends have money so they just buy bigger wheels, must be nice.
