Default trimmed/cut stock front fender flares

ive done a couple searches but havent found a list or how-to. If someone could point me into the right direction that would be cool. If not then post up pictures of your rig with chopped fender flares. Was thinking of trimming mine since its next to free to do but not sure how i want to go about it.

Thanks

Get a body saw, typically used for sheet metal and fine teeth, and just go to town with whatever line you choose. I chose to be less radical and maintain some of the lip while most people cut them purely flat. I have the same advantage of flat flares that they do except mine have a little more rigidity due to the radius of the lip. I think it's "red's fender flare chop" you're in search of.

I used a jig saw, then finished it off with a drywall rasp then sandpaper.

I don't love the look but it saved my fenders from being torn off. Going with PS flares after the new year.

Checked the links you guys posted and some very good info there. Trying to find something more along the lines of a narrow cut. I'm sure it's out there. I'm at work so only bathroom searching at the moment lol.

Specifically something like the smittybilt xrc fenders.

Found a pic of this chop. Exactly what I'm looking for. Keeps the fender support too. Just need to pickup a small marker light similar to that too.

When I did mine I was surprised to find out how easy it is to cut the inner fender liners. A utility knife with a fresh blade and you'll carve right through those puppies!
