what do wheels weigh
Any one have an idea what stock wheels weigh vs say steely or forged aluminum. ?
my thoughts are less rotating weight the better.. so I am looking at 35's that are lighter I think ( kelly safari tsr ) and maybe wheels I know that to reduce unsprung weight is good at least when racing dirt bikes so I would assume it is beneficial on my jeep.
so what do your wheels weigh?

Wheel weight is not as important as tire weight, and tire size is far more relevant than either of those. With larger tires, there is more force being generated at the edge of the tire. An extra 5lbs at the wheel won't make a difference. Going from 35" to 37" tires will be a substantial difference in rotational force.
Most alloy wheels are in the 25-35lb range. Steel wheels are probably 35-45lbs.

Yup beadlocks are even more good point. Some guys here when crawling even fill there front tires with water. They made a bet and said if i could pickup the tire on my own with no help i could have it... I had no hope lol.
