Yeah, I agree with everyone here. Be thankful for what you got, content with what you have, and not envious of others. Build... One piece at a time, friend! One piece at a time.

I work in the Gulf of Mexico on a 14 & 14 hitch, but I pull 21 day hitches to pay for my mods otherwise I couldn't afford it. My workover checks buy my mods. One day I will be able to make it to Arkansas and do a little crawlin'!

There's probably a lot more people in your same shoes on here than you realize. And a lot of people that afford their Jeeps, who are at risk of it all disappearing when the next bump in the economy hits. There's also a lot of people who save, and make very wise decisions on here, and what they have speaks to their hard work and dedication to careers and other pursuits that have taken a long time! Some of these people...are just filthy rich. Not me, and probably not most Jeepers. There's a thread on what jobs people have around here. Worth a read...it's pretty amazing just how spread out/diverse in the career world we are.

I'm a Prosthetist/engineer/Biomechanics specialist. Left practice and now work for a global manufacturer with consulting patient care facilities, carrying out R&D, implement new design of products, market analysis, patents, etc. In the end, I make else walk again.

I drive a Car Carrier. I do have a Jeep payment, and a bike payment, But most of my mods I pay for over a couple of months. I have a low interest revolving account I use, pay it down, then use it again, lol. Maybe not the smartest option, but I also have a certain amount going into saving every month also, but that's not my Toy fund......
