Hey there Chopper & Clubber - welcome from the Farmington Valley. You're not the only one in CT!

I'm a little afraid to ever go wheeling with either of you, 'cause I might just get chopped or clubbed... Seriously, though, maybe I should've chosen a more succinct name... hmmm... "clubber, chopper, ..." how about "grinder" or "mincer" or "beater" or "smasher" ? Nice to meet you both.

I'm JK-less as of this writing (as most of us seem to be).

Waiting on:
07 Sahara, almost-fully loaded (no MyGIG or 18" wheels).

Ordered 12/29, dealer expects delivery in late Feb. / early March.:whoaisme:

Hey there you guys. For a while there I was really thinkin' I was the only nutmegger here in th forum (as you can tell by first few posts in this thread)Nice to meet y'all.

any 4x4 shops in ct. that do lifts, exhaust mods etc. ?
I'm new to the Jeep scene myself. I know of a couple of 4X4 places here in Manchester but as far as the quality of their work and or the type of repairs or mods they are willing to undertake, is unknown to me at this time. I'll be looking into it though and I'll let you know what I find out.

I ordered my unlimited JK on 11-11, and in the prosses of waiting for it I decided to hold off on getting one for a few years and wait till all the bugs are worked out of them, so I bought a new '06 Unlimited rubicon instead. I got the same thing I was gonna get in the JK only last years model. I've had it for almost two weeks now and I'm lovin' it. I haven't gone off road yet only because I'm still having fun just getting used to having a new vehicle, which is a first for me. It's a birthday presant to myself...I'll be forty in a about a month.
I don't have a wife or any kids, so having a four door wasn't really a necessity.

I chose the name chopper because I really like custom bikes...although since you've mentioned it... I do also have a growing knife collection which I just added a Medieval Broadsword to.

It's good to hear from you guys.

Hey guys - great news from my stealership: 888's Jeep should, appropriately, be delivered on or around 2/8! Can't wait!
