Welcome to JK-Forum.

What's the purpose of flat flares for you? You may want to consider cutting your factory flares as well. Plenty of folks have cut theirs and they look really great.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase! It is a ride that you can keep for the long term. I'm sure it will be getting only better with all the work you planned on it.

We actually have lots of fender flares sets made by different manufacturers in a variety of styles of your choice. Browse them all here, simply choose the model year of your ride to see all available options:

IMO, a set of flat style Bushwackers in matte black textured finish will work for your JKU perfectly: https://www.carid.com/2015-jeep-wran...s-7596223.html

Welcome. There are a few factors to take in to account when choosing fender flares, namely how you intend to use the jeep. If you're going to take it offroad, what is your style going to be? Fire roads? Rock Crawlin'? While plastic works great for some, it is terrible for others. If you are not quite sure how your jeep ownership will evolve yet, you might want to hold off on the flares until you see how things progress. They can be a pricey upgrade depending on which way you go, and it's easier to do it right the first time than have to re-upgrade it a little later. If you're not quite sure, but you feel you need to have flat fenders to accommodate tires or something, cutting the factories might be a good option until you can really weigh what you want/need. Depending on location, they can be cheap to replace if you don't like the cuts you made or want to return to stock. I went plastic initially, wish I had just done metal from the get go.
