Hello from the hot and sunny island of Bahrain!
I just wanted to drop in and say hello, introduce myself. I'm from Bahrain, a little desert island in the Middle East. Been dreaming about owning a true 4x4 for over three years now and since January 16 2016 I have become the proud owner of a JKU15 Sahara Unlimited in Anvil color!
I researched heck of a lot on this forum and Wranglerforum.com and now since i got the jeep in the driveway I figure it is a good time to join these two forums! I cant describe how awesome it is to finally own a jeep, I've taken it out to the desert a couple times and surrounding valleys. Love it.
Oh yeah I named her Rosie after ACDC's Whole Lotta Rosie! It was the first name that popped to mind when I was thinking of a name, plus Im a metal head. Below are a couple of photos.
Check out my YouTube channel for some videos on it, and soon enough I'll film my desert fun!
Lastly I just want to say that it brings a tear to my eye to be a part of such a large and familial community as well as a part of this forum.

Welcome to the forum. I have been Bahrain several times before owning a Jeep so I did not really look at the area a place to wheel. I have been to Manama and Sheik Isa Air Base. I miss the shawarma's.

Nice! I'd say the best wheeling area honestly would be the south, it has this really good desert landscape quite a few off-roaders go there. Filled with soft sand, hills, limestone mountains. Other than that I can cross the bridge into Saudi Arabia and play in the bigger sand dunes :p
