New La Jeep(s) Owner
New here....Live just outside Baton Rouge, La. Thought I'd introduce myself as I recently joined this craziness.<br><br><br>So, about 6 weeks ago, after a beer or 7, I mentioned to my wife that she needed a jeep to drive. Her eyes lit up and about a week later she had found one. An '08 Red Wrangler Unlimited, pretty much stock. So, of course, I had to drive it a couple times and apparently the AC in those things mixes some kind of chemical into the air and it quickly infects your brain. Less than 2 days later, I knew I needed one. As I thought about it, I decided I wanted a 2 door version and it had to be manual transmission. I was thinking that having a few specific needs in the jeep would extend my search time. I only mentioned my new "need" to a couple of people but about 10 days ago I got a call from a friend telling me "its just what you need". Semi-reluctantly I went to check it out. The next morning I was signing papers....Yeh, I know it has already been modifed so I don't get credit for any of the existing extras, but its still a fun toy and I'm sure it will see a few modifications in time. Anyway, for now, here it is.....
