If you're new to the area, go on a Barrett Lake trail.

Its fun and a nice day trip as well! Plus it's only open for short periods each year. The Rubicon can be run when the snow melts.

No gas tank skid. Just stock skid. I've never had any issues.

I'm fortunate to have a non-traditional schedule. It definitely limits participation. I should start making some weekend runs, but I love the openness of the trails mid week.
