Might be able to hammer the lip flat again, and then grind it down some so it doesn't hang down below the edge of the pumpkin.

That works for a while, but if you have to pull it, it might as well go. I hate doing work twice.

I didn'go on this trip, but Barrett took us about 3.5 hours to get to the lake and 2.5 hours to get back. It was a very leisurely pace.
