Remember winter clouser is dec 15 thru april 15 the rim and slick rock are close
cant even drive up 108 to the turn off for niagara rim . but caltrans is planning on opening some of 108 on april 10th.

Yup, that's why we're keeping Strawberry Pass as an alternate...

Having said that, I just ordered the most recent/update trail guide (April 2014) since there seems to be confusion on what trails are still even entirely open, partially open, etc.

But correct me if im wrong Strawberry Pass is Closed along with Deer Valley and other trails due to environmental issues.

14N39 Richardson Lake road up to the PCT was opened July 14, 2014. A contract has been awarded for the repairs to the upper part of the road in 2015.

Count Tracy and I in no matter where we go. I doubt we can get to slick rock due to road closure. I think we could get to run corral hollow unless it has locked gate. Would be more of a snow run. We ran it last May and could only get a few hundred yards in due to snow. We'll go up early and camp sat night if weather is nice.
