April 11 or 12th....

Ok, since my trail time schedule is limited and since Slick Rock is closed, I say Hell Hole for the 12th. I'll schedule another run for the 18th or 19th for Slick Rock.
Hell Hole is more difficult than Slick Rock apparently but a notch under Signal Peak which I hear isn't that bad. If Jurassic's 2-door on 35's with no skids can survive on Signal Peak, I think everyone will be fine on Hell Hole BUT I would still recommend skids (and sliders!) just in case.

I'd say Signal peak and Slick Rock are equal. they both have a couple obstacles that challenge you and several tame sections. I don't know that I would do Signal Peak by itself for a day trip. Both trails can be done in about 45 minutes, but Slick rock has some more scenic areas you can stop at. Signal peak, the main scenic spot is the top. I haven't done Hell HOle yet, but I thought I was supposed to be tougher than the other two.

Let's do Hell hole. It is a really long haul to get there. Looks like 3 hrs to get there from my house in Stockton. What time and where do we want to meet?

Yeah it's a 3 hr drive from the meetup at Chevron (99 & E. 8 Mile Rd) in Stockton to the Hell Hole campground. You guys know all the back roads so I'll follow you but if Justin camps out the night before, I might join them (or find a closer campground that's 1-2 hours away from the trail) since it's a 4 hour haul for me....
S_House, you and Pjohn could probably meet-up in Sacramento and go from there.

** Assuming JKZinger and/or 40thbdjk decides not to camp out on Saturday night **
Meet up at the Chevron at 8am? Gets us out there around 11am. Figure 1.5hrs to run in, eat lunch at the end of the trail/edge of the lake, 1.5hrs to run back out. Get back on the road by 2:30/3pm to head home...
Chevron address:
Chevron
10878 N Hwy 99
Stockton, CA 95212

Ewww Hell hole. I really dislike the cliff at the beginning. Count me in for now still.
DJ1 I see similarities in our videos I'm just a little slower.

Camping out the 11th
I'm kicking around the idea of camping out also. Depends if I go solo or if the wife goes. She has plans Saturday. So if she bails on me for Sunday I will probably camp out also. Are there any camp sites close by or is it sleep where u drop?

Maybe find a campground in Auburn or Foresthill so it's a shorter drive...
