That's the clip?

I'll get some too. Now I need to watch a utube video so a trail install goes smoothly!

I'll take a $3.00 nylon bushing that takes ten minutes to change over a $1,300.00 T-case rebuild any day of the week.

The picture I saw was a retainer clip, but in looking at my tcase I see a nylon bushing at the bottom of my linkage.

My jeep is almost 8 yrs old and the part is still holding up

Made a run up to Ellis Peak today to get out. Very cool scenery up there. Didn't take many pics except at the top:

I believe that's Loon Lake in the upper right corner:

This exact thing happened to me this past weekend. I drove five hours to get to the trailhead here in California up at bishop. My buddies and I aired down at the trailhead climbed back in the jeep started to go I went to shift and four-wheel high and the lever was just floppy all away back to neutral. It was absolutely not connected to anything. So I climbed out we did inspection underneath and saw that little plastic retainer clip Had completely deteriorated and the linkage was free of the transfer case. Allowing the lever in the Jeep to just move back-and-forth freely. We were able to use some heavy duty zip ties to zip tie the linkage to the transfer case I put in for 4lo and kept it there all weekend. Got back to trailhead at the in the weekend and she shifted back into high just fine. What a bummer that little plastic clip brakes and deteriorates overtime I have a 2010
