End of the year runs
So there hasn't been much action this summer on here. I was thinking of throwing out some dates for some day trips and see if we can get some wheeling in before the snow hits. Let me know if you're interested in any, and we'll make a new thread.
10-17-15 Fordyce trail. never been there and want to try it before winter hits. would prefer to get someone who knows the trail well.
11-07-15 Bald mtn. 33's and rock rails should suffice.
12-12-15 Snow run (if snow present). Location TBD.

I've already got plans for 10/3. A work party on our sponsored trail.
10/17 I'm open but weekend fordyce runs can be risky since its narrow with long stretches of single track trail. One slow/broke rig, and you're done.

I'm tentatively doing a two day rubicon trip on Oct 2nd and 3rd with a handful of co-workers. We could probably accommodate a couple more in our group assuming they were fairly self sufficient. I'm still too much of a newbie to take full responsibility for leading up a full rubicon run though.

How about 10/16? seems to be easier to get people out on a weekend, but I can see what you mean about traffic on the trail. I was hoping maybe there wouldn't be as many people on the trail at that time.

I was getting ready to post up a Rubicon trip for October 16, 17 & 18. Just waiting for more details.
Bald looks good to me though, I have been wanting to get up there.
