I've been feeding rocks with my rear CV and pinion, so today I installed AEV's 9th degree skid. This thing is heavy at a 1/4" thick Attachment 603220

This is one of those parts I'm surprised not more people are running. My clips on my coast shaft are very torn up, pinion had and is taking a beating, seems like this is very good insurance. Best part is 0 clearance is changed

Hey DJ1
I picked up a set of the body armor doors at truck and jeep fest for my four door. And I have to say they are WIFE approved for use with the kids, super strong and well built. I recommend them for sure.

Pulled the trigger on this bad boy with dual Odyssey's. 2 is 1. 1 is none.
Hope to crank this out on Monday. That means I might have an 11 month old Duralast AGM up for sale...

Just for reference and some may or may not know. So this last weekend with four adults in the Jeep experiencing a full bottoming out on the rear coil overs. As you can tell from the first picture my inner collar was almost to the top of the top collar for spring adjustment. So what was taking place, the top spring was compressing but the bottom spring was not and bottoming out the spring and possibly hitting the bottom of the shock. What I didn't know the inner collar needed to be closer to the coil spring isolator like in the third picture shows. When this adjustment takes place the bottom spring engages much faster which prevents a slump on the ass end with the weight back there and a stiffer spring rate when engaged. The top spring is more made for driving on normal roads.
