Smittybilt XRC Armor and "the fuzz"
#34
I have been running between seattle and everett with the same fenders and have had no problems. They look and normally give me a thumbs up. Here are some pictures of my setup

Flares/Mud flaps for XRC Armor Fenders
I live at the beach and the roads are always wet from sprinklers. At slow speeds my front tires sling water all over my hood, doors and windows. And if the doors are off it makes a real mess!
No problems at normal speeds in excess of 40mph, but the 20-30mph driving around the beach slings dirty water everywhere.
Thanks in advance for any ideas or solutions that anyone may have come up with!

Ha, this is old. Most of the people who replied before aren't on here anymore. Two of them I know don't even own jeeps anymore. Losers! I don't know if anyone else made fenders or extensions, but we didn't.

I love the looks of the XRC armor and know it will be fantastic off-road, but I may try to fabricate some small flares to help deflect water from the front tires. Spoke to Smittybilt just to see if they had developed anything or knew of anyone that had, but no such luck. The guy did tell me that the bolts (that people like to refer to as rivets) around the entire wheel well are all functional bolts and could be used to mount such a flare.
So I guess it's off to the drawing board!
