This section has been dead lately so I figure I'd try to liven it up with some snow pic's. If anyone else has been snow wheeling this year, post your pics. Let's get this section going again.

Here's some pic's from a New Years day run upto Denny Creek and Tinkham road.








Then the following weekend we went up FS75 road so a friend could test out his new Ultra4 spec rig.






That following Monday night we got a call that a rig was stuck up at Denny Creek so myself and a couple others went up and got him unstuck and heading back the right direction. Here's a couple night shots.




Last weekend we went exploring up FS7710 and FS7720. Fun area, we found some deep snow up top that I didn't get any pictures of since we were too busy plowing snow, but heres a few shots from down lower on the road. It was a great day, the weather was perfect.






Everyone post where you've been this year and I'll keep updating each time I go out too. It's only the 17th of January and I've already been out 4 times this year. Hopefully I can keep this pace up all year. lol

Looks like fun! I definitely need to go snow wheeling soon, even though my little tires will only do so much. What part of WA are those pics from? Elevation?

All central cascades on the western slope, from interstate 90 to hwy410 ish. Average elevation is between 3000-4500 feet.

sea bass

Nothing crazy. Went up FS 74 or 75 - I always forget. Snow was pure sugar and wouldn't compact. Spent about an hour and a half helping a chained up dodge back down the mountain.

Nice sea bass. Yes, the inexperienced/unprepared have been everywhere this year. We've recovered quite a few people so far that have no business being up there. Shoot, one of our runs we spent nearly two hours getting Pierce County Search and Rescue unstuck.

Nice! Tonga is pretty cool. We went there once last year and the snow was deep!

Was out behind Wilkerson last weekend. The snow was pretty challenging since it wouldn't compact, sugary.

Went back upto FS75 road on Sunday. We got a chance to make some more progress on reaching the lake. We broke trail for about a mile and a half before calling it a day. We are only a turn or two away from the last turn off to the lake..... so maybe a mile from the lake. Progress.

Did a little hiking in the snow with a rope over my shoulder. LOL

Hard to see in this picture, but this has a bit of a side hill to it. A little before this picture was a spot where the snow balls were rolling from the hill above, across the road and down the cliff. It was really nerve wracking going through this section. I wasn't sure if "staying on top" of the snow was the right thing to do, I kept thinking I was going to go over the edge with the snow balls. I'll admit I used the gas a little more through here to dig in more then I needed.

My tracks back to my friends behind me. I was at 1.5-2 psi, they were at 5 psi and still struggling. I was making progress but it was leaving a fluffy track and they were having to pack down the snow. Fun day though.
