Default Washington Back Country Discovery Route

WABDR - Washington Backcountry Discovery Route

anyone hear of this? i'm going to try and get it done by the end of this summer.

I just have a lot of gear and equipment to buy, and I'm not sure I can get it all in time.

Still need suspension parts, bumpers, jerry cans, more armor, and all that stuff. We all know how upgrading goes

If I can get everything done in time, and set up a week to do it, would anyone be down to come with? I've never done anything like this before, and I think it'll be an amazing experience. One of my co-workers just came back from a week long hike down in Arizona/Utah and it's pushing me to do this even more. It would be near the end of summer, around august/september, when it starts to cool off a bit, but it's still sunny. I would love to do it without the top, but i'm not sure how that would work out. The PNW seems to get more rain than we want...

If there's enough interest I'll make sure to really push my bank account for the parts
And I can try to set up a week that everyone can make it!

Outdoors and I were discussing doing it a while back. We it planned down to a week or so. Should be a great trip.

Does sound fun. If I had any more vacation, I'd run it with you this year.

I would defiantly be in! I only have a few more things to buy to make my jeep ready for that kind of journey. Always wanted to do that.

Looks like a great trip. I would like to do section 3, Ellensberg to Cashmere. When do you think the road will be open?

Lived here nearly my whole life and this is the first I've seen of this. Looks pretty rad!

I wonder if the Cashmere-Ellensburg leg is free of snow yet...
