Call the Comfort Inn/Pine Grove and tell them you're wheeling at Rausch. You'll get the discount rate. I believe it's in the mid-$60's per night. You can also camp at the park for free.
You may want to repost this in the east coast section. With this much notice, you can get a pretty big group interested. If you need guides, let us know. I'm sure there are a bunch of us Rausch regulars that would be more than happy to show you guys around.

I haven't been to Rausch Creek since 2010. I went almost every year before then though.
The comfort inn didn't offer and special rates even for a group wheeling at rausch.....not sure why......that why we booked the relax inn. Hopefully it's just a little dated and not dirty!
Your more than welcome to add to our group! I know there are new trails that I'm not familiar with out there....so a guide might be a good thing!
I also started this thread in east coast section.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn early this January.... you need to call the hotel directly for the Rausch Creek discount. The central reservation doesn't do that. The TwinGroove campground is also close if folks want a little more facilities while camping.
